good energy life...

Interpersonal relationships are often substituted with technology distractions. Busy lives with less time to connect and reflect. This site is a collection of stories / media shared to inspire gentle change through kindness, compassion, and empathy.

With meaningful personal growth, collectively we ensure our relationships and the World around us provide a good energy life for all. And for those interested, we've also provided a variety of local and international charity / volunteer opportunities.

Enjoy.

Free to be you

ge.life desires visitors feel comfortable to be themselves, so hopefully the transparent content presented, encourages a safe space for new thoughts / ideas, to evolve and blossom.

In stillness, patience resides. Peruse ge.life as if you are only living

in the now, and its subtleties will not only be seen, but experienced.

"Most humans are never fully present in the now, because unconsciously they believe that the next moment must be more important than this one. But then you miss your whole life, which is never not now." — Eckhart Tolle

Mental wellness

There has been an unusual amount of World challenges the past few years. Combined with life's everyday demands, it has been a little overwhelming. We've provided a mental wellness page to give a little hope, and thoughts of how to rise when down. And for those who may need it, we've included some links to 24-hour crisis help & support.

Testing the waters...

Hopefully this site encourages human kindness by sharing content which stirs and awakens good feelings from within.

Self-reflection is similar to testing the waters — it can be scary, uncomfortable, and take us outside comfort zones. Transparent love, humility and empathy are rare today, so are uncommon to find in their purist form. Being transparent and free to love deeply, is where most will find their happy place.

Test the waters... dig deep to discover what's inside — it is where the very best version of you resides. It's who you were originally created to be. Embrace the good in you with an enlightened self-hug.  See sweet example HERE :-)

Protect the children

We all should be willing to give...

Not worrying what anybody else thinks, we are free to give of ourselves, when the needs of others arise. Give proudly, as there is no shame in displaying gentle compassion and empathy.

One Day... pay it forward (5min)

Receiving kindness inspires paying it forward. An individual act can multiply into a community of difference. Eventually it comes full circle.

Be yourself — you were created unique

We conform to society's norms, change our behavior to impress, and along the way can lose our identity. Follow your heart and not the herd. Seek purity and you will find yourself. We were created unique and may glimpse our whole, but to see the entirety is to let go and fly. Believe in yourself.

Utopian coffee cup sleeve

ge.life includes a page on romantic relationships HERE but first will share a weirdly related true story.

Years ago, I (site creator) had a money-making idea I wished to patent and sell. Being a coffee drinker, I was familiar with the annoyance / danger of hot coffee cup sleeves from places like Starbucks. They were constantly slipping or falling off. Not the end of the World stuff, but in need of a simple fix.

After extensive brainstorming, I came-up with the idea of adding a couple small sticky gum drops to the interior of sleeve (similar to the gummy stuff used to attach new credit cards to letters). My idea didn't seem cool enough though to patent, so didn't proceed further.

Anyhow, fast forward to today and you'll notice Starbucks created and implemented an even better solution. It's simply ingenious — they just removed the inside cardboard's surface layer, to expose interior ribbing (see left picture above). When the sleeve is pushed up, the ribs compress, providing inward pressure, therefore preventing slippage. This design also uses less cardboard, so better for the environment.

This perfect cup sleeve got me thinking about love (yeah, I'm a little weird!).

If you're blessed to be in a meaningful relationship, or are preparing your character for one, you know how important it is to strengthen your ability to give. And yes, it's not strange prepping for a future relationship regardless of current single status. It's the ultimate unselfish act, ensuring you are ready to be giving on the deeper level your future partner will desire.

To be able to develop the very best coffee cup sleeve, we need to be able to stand back and look at the entire picture. Deepening a relationship is no different. I failed at my cup sleeve design due to a narrow focus, and desire for a quick solution. Think of a good relationship as eternal, regardless of what you believe eternity beholds. This way, patience becomes the necessary approach, allowing time to step back and observe with an open heart.

Try to feel what your partner's spirit yearns for. Sense their energy by reading subtle signs in behavior and energy they project. Listen thoughtfully to the words they speak and be attentive to the subtleties in body language. Add these signals together, and you'll have a pretty good idea what their needs are. For an extreme example; if you're a little loud consistently in your voice / manner in which you communicate, your partner may reduce the conversation's length, not look at you as much, and withdraw in other ways (eg., they might read a book, rather than watch a noisy TV, or spend more time alone to subconsciously get gentle peace). However, a partner with a wounded spirit, may do the opposite by raising their voice to retain dominance / dignity / self-respect.

The sweet-spot is obtained when both seek the gentle path, allowing periods of silence to feel comfortable.

Now let's look at utopian design — the top right cup picture above depicts this. It's the ultimate cup sleeve. The ribbed cardboard is attached permanently to the cup, with the ribs on outside in a wavy form. This design is so cool, that your hand can't slip upwards due to the wave shape. When two people are like-minded, and each desire to be the servant of the other, they enter the utopian design realm. Each understands the others spirit, so fluently read needs & desires. This requires character depth and the needed sacrifices to obtain it; humility / gentleness / servanthood / unselfishness.

If you're both committed to whatever it takes to bond on this deeper level, then your utopian connection will not only be a heavenly experience here on Earth, but heavenly for eternity :-)

Divine madness — in the name of Religion, purity is absent.

UK aid dropped from plane into Gaza (1min)

— BBC's Middle East correspondent Quentin Sommerville joined the Jordanian Air Force, as UK aid dropped from the sky.

In an extract from a New York Times article, David Brooks wrote;  "Hamas and its followers cultivate the fantasy that Israel, a permanent Middle Eastern nation, will magically cease to exist. Its terrorists seek to avenge the wounds of injustice and humiliation with mass murder, without anything remotely resembling a firm plan to improve the quality of Palestinian lives."

Not all Palestinians in Gaza support Hamas, yet thousands of innocent women and children have perished from Israel's indiscriminate vengeance for Hamas's attack on their civilians. Hama's attack was horrendous in nature, and the perpetrators should definitely be brought to justice, but not at the expense of so many innocent lives. Additionally, thousands more children and their mothers will live with amputated limbs / permanent blindness from explosive debris / and without their dead siblings.

To completely level entire neighborhoods hoping to hit Hamas, is no different from the horrendous Russian attacks on Ukraine.

This was Israel's opportunity to rise to a purer level. Show their (Israel's) religion, has a foundation in kindness and doing what is right, rather than self-righteous justification. Sadly they have not shown purity of heart in this situation, rather are negatively affecting a whole new generation of Palestinians, through ridiculously disproportionate violence. Palestinians will only remember the endless bombings / endless attacks on ambulances /restrictions and direct attacks on humanitarian aid / torturous interrogations, etc., etc.., etc. Only 1/200th of the normal supply of food and medicine was allowed in, and only after massive international outrage. How can any race or religion justify starving children?

Wow did Israel miss an opportunity to show they are a good people. Imagine if they were EXTREMELY selective with their use of aerial bombs, assisted with making sure civilians were out of harms way, allowed thousands of food trucks to get to the starving, and actually had soldiers handing out other needed supplies for free. Yes, soldiers handing out aid in person. This type of kindness / mercy, is what helps reduce future conflicts. It is possible to show kindness while hunting down the evil individuals whom hurt Israeli civilians.

Soldiers actually saying "sorry to disrupt your lives in this way, we are only here to find the people whom hurt the ones we care about." Some version of this kinder approach, would have helped reduce the high volume of retaliations, the heartless approach will bring later.

So why in the video above did the UK need to drop needed supplies to Gaza, from the sky? Why not by truck? Because Israel severely restricted / caused such dangerous conditions on the ground, that the UK's only way to help was to drop it from above. A perfect visual illustration of how insane the situation was on the ground, that even help couldn't be supplied.

Unfortunately due to stupid religious justifications on both sides, and their bad / self-righteous behaviors during the conflict, ge.life cannot provide related charity links. Both sides are known for retaliating immaturely and disproportionally against those seen to support one side over the other. If ge.life only provided charity links to one side, the other may retaliate. There are many charities online you can find to support either side, if you wish to help the inflicted.
